December 2024 Update: Applications for the Minor Repairs & Improvements grant fund and the Net Zero Quick Wins grant fund are closed until January.
The Diocese of Chichester has been awarded two new grant-funding streams by the central Church of England as part of the 'Buildings for Mission: Support for Churches' scheme, which will be awarded across 2024 and 2025. We are excited to offer these new sources of funding with the aim of enabling parishes to secure the future viability of their buildings while aspiring to meet their Net-Zero Carbon targets.
- Minor Repairs & Improvements Grants - small grants for urgent repair works and improvements to church buildings
- Net Zero Carbon 'Quick Wins' Grants - small grants which support churches and church halls in delivering small-scale NZC works
To apply, please read the 'Guidance for Applicants' document provided here to ensure that your project is eligible. You can then fill in the Application From provided here, and return it to the Church Buildings Support Officer, Sophie Allen.
Both grant funds will be administered by the Church Buildings Team and the Net Zero Carbon Team at Church House, in close collaboration with the four Archdeacons.
Applications can be directed to the Church Buildings Support Officer, Sophie Allen, at sophie.allen@chichester.anglican.org / 01273 425 699. If there are any queries about the grants or the application process, please get in touch.
