Today we pray for Stephen Lucas and his family after hearing the sad news of the sudden and unexpected death of his wife, Revd Pauline Lucas, vicar of Kirdford with Plaistow & Ifold. Pauline died on Good Friday. 

We pray for her parish and for Chichester Cursillo family too, as Pauline played a key role in its mission.

May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Lord, we don't understand why our loved ones should suddenly be removed from us through a sudden, unexpected death – but Lord we trust You to soothe away the hurt in time – for shall not the God of all the earth do right…. In Jesus name, we pray,
