Prayers for Ruth & Will as their consecration approaches.
Your prayers are asked for Ruth Bushyager and Will Hazlewood who are to be consecrated as bishops in the chapel at Lambeth Palace on Wednesday of this week, 15 July, the feast of St Swithun.
The Bishop of Chichester asks for prayers for the two bishop designates.
Ruth will serve as bishop of Horsham and Will is to be the next bishop of Lewes.
Bishop Martin said today: “Please pray for the candidates and their families, asking God’s blessing on their future ministry and its fruitfulness.”
A date for a welcome in the Diocese of Chichester will be announced shortly.
