All our churches were hard hit financially in 2020. Months of lock-down left many wondering where to find the necessary funds for repairs, running costs and maintenance.

Andrew Smith, the new generous giving adviser for the Diocese, has announced a new partnership with the fundraising website easyfundraising to enable parishes to easily generate funds. He said:

“We are excited about what this new partnership means for our churches. I really believe that parishes will see a significant return if applied well. So, to help you get started, and get the most out of this opportunity, we have arranged for some easy, friendly and informal webinars. We’d love you to join us! Use one of the links below to book a session and all attendees will be entered into a £25 prize draw.”

How does easyfundraising work?

It’s simple - when anyone connected to your church uses the easyfundraising website or app to shop online with over 5,000 well known stores, the retailer they shop with makes a donation to your church.

It’s completely free to use and it won’t cost your congregation anything extra as the retailer pays the donations, not the shopper.

How to get started

To get started now, simply register your church as a good cause with easyfundraising- it’s completely free to register and use and only takes two minutes.
