New Rural Dean for Rotherfield
The Bishop of Chichester has appointed The Revd Julie Sear, the Rector of Hartfield and Coleman’s Hatch, as the new Rural Dean for Rotherfield.
Julie, who will serve or five years, succeeds the Revd Sharon Francis, vicar of New Groombridge.
The Archdeacon of Hastings welcomes the appointment. He said: “I am delighted to welcome Julie into her new ministry among us as a Rural Dean and look forward to working with her as we serve the clergy and parishes of the Rotherfield Deanery.
“Please may we keep Julie, and everyone in the Rotherfield Deanery, in our prayers.”
Julie will be licensed by The Archdeacon of Hastings Edward Dowler on September 1st.
