Let's talk about Easter
A parish in Seaford will be smashing through the history of chocolate Easter eggs to help children discover who Jesus really was and why he still matters 2,000 years on.
Stefan Bracher is the Children, Youth & Family Worker at St Leonard’s & St Luke’s Churches - Seaford Parish and he is looking forward to Easter.
Stefan said: "Each week, we are coming into contact with 130+ children, young people, and parents. Christmas and Easter are some of the easiest times to talk about Jesus. We use times at Easter to explain Holy Week and what happened on the cross, but we also use it as a time to springboard into more in-depth discussions with our groups.
"During these sessions at either Tots' Treats - toddler group, Sparks - children's group, Ignite - youth group or Glow - Sunday school group, young people and adults will be able to come together and continue to learn all about Easter and why it is just so important for Christians".
Thanks to Morrisons in Seaford, who gave the church a fantastic discount, the church has around 200 Easter eggs to give out this Easter.
