Could you be a Maycamp Angel?
We are looking for Maycamp Angels, who would partner with us by donating financially and praying for the event too.
Maycamp brings together hundreds of young people, year 6 to year 13, across the diocese of Chichester for the second May bank holiday weekend. It is a time of worship, teaching, discipleship, sports, games, music and more!
We are currently the only diocese running a youth event of this size and has been going for over 40 years. In that time, it has given young people a place to explore faith, experience the wider church and set many on the path of vocational ministry. Find out what the weekend covers here
Maycamp continues to give space to this current generation of young people to do the same, in a safe and friendly festival. Each year more and more young people take a step of faith into their journey with God.
Financial challenges have affected so many people recently and sadly Maycamp is no exception. We are looking for Maycamp Angels, who would partner with us by donating financially and praying for the event too.
We try to make Maycamp as affordable as possible, and this leads to us keeping ticket prices down, so we are only able to recover a proportion of our costs. We believe that the work of Maycamp is key in helping serve the young people who attend and bring the love of God to hundreds every year, and we do not want affordability to be a barrier to that.
Please would you prayerfully consider whether you might be able to donate to support the work we do. Click the button below to help the young people access this amazing event year after year.
We would love for parishes to become Maycamp Angels too. Could you consider making a gift as part of your missional giving to enable this ministry to continue to thrive? You can either give through the donations button below, or by contacting the Diocesan finance team to let them know that you would like to make a gift to support Maycamp.
You can use the safe link here for your donations. Thank you for your support.

“Maycamp changed my life! IT gave me the space to explore and meet God in my own way. I have met so many amazing people through maycamp who have supported and guided me through every up and down. Coming back feels like coming home and it’s great to serve and support the next generation in their faith journey.”
