This Benefice is made up of four rural parishes within a few miles of each other in West Sussex, situated within the beautiful countryside of the South Downs in the Deanery of Storrington. The Bishop of Chichester seeks to appoint an Incumbent (HfD) who will offer a dynamic evangelistic, pastoral and liturgical ministry, as we seek to know, love and follow Jesus.

We are praying for a priest who will:

• bring renewed energy, optimism and forward thinking to this beautiful Parish in the heart of West Sussex
• celebrate the broad, diverse and generous culture across the Benefice
• serve with joy and warmth in their pastoral ministry, sustained by their own deep faith in Christ and with confidence in liturgical and eucharistic worship
• support and develop our existing relationship with our Church of England, and other, schools
• be a visionary priest who is gifted in collaborative leadership
• be a gifted communicator of God’s grace
