Click or tap here to enter text.St Michael & All Angels Church, Jarvis Brook is situated in the town of Crowborough, East Sussex. Following relocation of the present holder we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable Organist and Choir Leader. We are a small to medium size congregation averaging 34 at our 10.00am Sunday service. The role is to play for that service, plus festivals and occasional offices and to lead our weekly choir practice.

We have a fine two-manual Hopkins of York organ which was refurbished in 2023 through the generosity of the Congregation and the Community. We have a small, experienced and dedicated choir who practise on Thursday evenings and sing anthems regularly. We are looking to appoint someone with enthusiasm to grow the choir and continue the traditions established over many years.

St Michael’s is an open and welcoming church in the central Anglican tradition. The priest in charge is recently appointed and is fully supportive of the musical values of the church. Services are mainly sung Eucharists, with one family service a month. Fees will be in line with RSCM recommendations with additional fees paid for weddings and funerals.
