St Mary’s is looking for a skilled organist with a flexible approach to lead the music at the sung Eucharists on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays (a music group lead on the first and third Sundays). There is a monthly Evensong on the fourth Sunday, with a small choir that rehearses before the service. On the second Sunday there is an informal evening service at which organ and/or piano playing is required.Duties would also include Christmas, Holy Week and Easter, plus other major festivals.Payment will be in line with RSCM recommendations with additional fees paid for weddings and funerals.
